Liebe Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer der Heinz Nixdorf Recall Studie und der Heinz Nixdorf Mehrgenerationenstudie,

im Dezember 2000 begrüßten wir unseren ersten Teilnehmer in unserem Studienzentrum. Mittlerweile nehmen 7711 Studienteilnehmerinnen und Studienteilnehmer aus 1878 Familien an unseren beiden Studien teil. Viele von Ihnen waren schon mehrfach in unserem Studienzentrum und füllen seit vielen Jahren postalische Fragebögen aus. Dafür bedanken wir uns herzlich bei Ihnen!

  • Aktuell findet die 1. Nachuntersuchung der Studienteilnehmenden der Heinz Nixdorf Mehrgenerationenstudie statt. Derzeit werden nur Personen untersucht, die zur Ersterhebung eine Computertomographie (CT) des Herzens erhalten haben.
  • Wie gehabt und bis auf Weiteres verschicken wir jährlich unseren postalischen Fragebogen an alle Teilnehmenden der Heinz Nixdorf Recall Studie und Heinz Nixdorf Mehrgenerationenstudie.
  • Seit September 2021 untersuchen wir außerdem insgesamt 800 Essener Bürger, die im Jahre 2020 mit dem Coronavirus infiziert waren, nach dem bewährten Studienprotokoll der Heinz Nixdorf Recall Studie und Heinz Nixdorf Mehrgenerationenstudie, um Langzeitfolgen der Coronainfektion zu untersuchen.

Das Studienzentrum Bildgebende Verfahren befindet sich in der Virchowstraße, direkt gegenüber des Lehr- und Lernzentrums (Virchowstr. 163a).

Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln: (Bitte beachten Sie den Hinweis in der Anfahrtsskizze im roten Kasten! Bitte vermeiden Sie derzeit, den Fußweg über das Klinikumsgelände zu nehmen, da hier aus Gründen des Infektionsschutzes der Publikumsverkehr eingeschränkt wurde.)

zu Fuß gehen Sie durch den Haupteingang des Universitätsklinikums Essen gerade aus über den Meyer-Schwickerath- Platz. Die Treppe runter, rechts, dann links zum Studienzentrum für Bildgebende Verfahren.

Mit dem Auto:

Der Weg zum Universitätsklinikum Essen ist im Stadtgebiet ausgeschildert. Auswärtige erreichen das Gelände über die Bundesautobahnen A40 und A52.

Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in den gebührenpflichtigen Parkhäusern, erreichbar über die Haupteinfahrt des Universitätsklinikums in der Hufelandstraße sowie in der Virchowstraße. Ein- und Ausfahrt sind rund um die Uhr möglich.
